OSR is an abbreviation for Oxidative Stress Relief. OSR loves oxidative stress and binds the free radicals OH– 3 to 1. Metals are all 1 to 1. It has an enormous ORAC score 192,400. In a phase 2 double blind clinical trial severely, mercury poisoned Ecuadorian gold miners who received 300 mg/day for 2 weeks, just 4.2 grams or 42 level 100 mg spoons showed significant drop in urine mercury, improvement in their symptoms and increased energy. Link to: the Ecuador Gold Miners Phase IIa The symptom improvement was significantly greater in the 300mg group than the 100mg group and both much greater than the placebo controls
OSR (oxidative stress relief) is an ideal chelator since it is:
- Totally nontoxic;
- Made from natural substances to allow sale as a dietary supplement;
- Uncharged and lipid-soluble, in order to cross the blood brain barrier and bio membranes, so as to enter all cells and organelles of the body to which mercury would migrate;
- Capable of forming strong, thermodynamically irreversible semi-covalent bonds with the toxic [heavy] metals, to eliminate toxicity upon binding and prevent redistribution;
- Minimally attracted to essential metals to prevent their depletion (a major toxic effect of most charged chelators);
- Chemically inert and harmless even after binding the toxic metal;
- Effectively excretable, with and without a bound metal, through the bile and bowel via the naturally occurring P-450 detox system, so as to prevent buildup in any organ or cell.Â
How to take:
Can be consumed with or without food. It won’t dissolve in water, but you certainly can wash it down with water. Like Dr. Haley I typically just put it under my tongue wash it down with coffee or water or just leave it so eventually some will be absorbed and the rest swallowed.
OSR quickly renders toxic metal inert and harmless. Some of the metals sequestered in non-vascular areas and take longer to capture because they may not be near any circulating blood like for example lead deposited in cortical bone. You must have bone turn-over to expose that sequestered lead to OSR. Exercise or weightlifting stimulates bone turn-over. A longer treatment is recommended for hard to get metals.
